This Year's Deficit Below 50 Year Average!
"The federal budget deficit became a big issue during Obama's early years in office. In 2011, Obama and congressional Republicans struck a deal that resulted in significant spending cuts at many government agencies. At the start of 2013, Obama persuaded Congress to further address the deficit by raising taxes on top earners."
Isn't this good news!
The deficit is shrinking and the economy is improving.
Thank God for President Obama!

CBO isn't based on fact, it's based entirely on projections and assumptions.

I'm sorry, where are the facts again? It's rather amusing that you were singing the praises of big government spending in another thread, yet in this article, the primary reason for the decline in deficit was cuts in government spending!
Here's a fact for you: Remember the sequestration in 2013, that thing obama and the Democrats were so angry at Republicans over? The act which cut spending by 1.1 trillion over several years? Where would the deficit be without the Republicans shutting down Congress and forcing the implementation of those sequestration cuts?
Newsflash, JD, the deficit barely fell in spite of obama and his policies.
But keep drinking the kool-aid.

Thank you, David. I couldn't be bothered to respond, since I knew it would fall on deaf ears, but I'm glad someone at least tried.

Re: This Year's Deficit Below 50 Year Average!
No matter what I try, if there is anything good to report that has anything to do with Obama, even remotely, you guys find a way to be "Debbie Downers" about it.
I don't disagree with anyting you said david, but can't you see that you guys are so biased against Obama that it is impossible for you all give him credit for anything positive?
Even with the GOP shutting down the govt, the sequestration cuts were put in place by the Obama Administration. The Obama Admin didn't want sequestration to go into place and even still, they reconvened and some of the sequestration cuts were mitigated with bipartisan help.
