My youngest son has five sons with another son coming this Spring. The other day, son number 4 [Jeremiah] disappeared. After a frantic search he was located in an empty clothes hamper taking a nap with his favorite blanket. Ah, ... the peaceful sleep of a clear conscience. You can sleep anywhere.

awwwwwwww, but I know the feeling of searching for lost children. My two oldest boys when they were little took off down the road to Dairy Queen with rocks to get an ice cream cone. After she made the cones they threw the rocks on the counter and took off running. I of course met them head on with a switch.

How sweet! I have a very similar pic... my daughter got in trouble one day and took all her pillows and put them in her closet floor and went to sleep! We hunted for about an hour until we found her!!!!

One night my youngest didn't want to be in her room by herself, so after I went to sleep, she brought her pillow, blanket, and books to my closet and laid in there reading until she fell asleep. I had no idea she was there and thought maybe she had fallen off her bed and rolled under it when I went to wake her. She wasn't there. I looked in her sister's room and the bathrooms and after I went through the basement and she wasn't there, I began to get just a little bit worried. When I found her sound asleep in my closet floor, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!!

Ooops! Some boys done got demselves in trouble! LOL
I remember one day my frantic search for my 2 yr old. It was a beautiful spring day and I had the door open. I was working around the house and he left the house. I looked all over for him. i went outside and started checking every where. I was yelling and calling his name. After about 5 minutes I was freaked out. We had this somewhat strange neighbor behind who was walking up and down his drive way and then would look into the woods, then go back and look in his garage. I ran over and asked him if he saw a little boys about 2 and he yelled at me and screamed NO! That made my fears become even greater! Another neighbor, also a brother in the church was just 2 houses down. He wasn't home. I ran up to his house and there, behind his privacy fence was my 2 year old playing with dump trucks in the sand. I was relieved, but very frantic and frustrated at this time. He did not answer because he knew I would make him stop playing! Well, he wasn't too young to get his little behind wore out! Oh, the fears of motherhood!

BTW, my boys had to go back and apologize to the lady and pay for the ice cream cones. You should have seen them running trying to beat that switch.
