At our Bible study last night we were discussing the night that the rich kid came to Jesus and asked what he needed to do to be saved. Jesus told him to sell all he had and give it to the needy and then come follow him, but the man went away sad. I wonder if how many of us Christians are very much like that young man, even if we don't want to admit it. I think we have a tendency to measure the worth of other people by their possessions instead of measuring their worth by God's yardstick.

I am very close to this church, Pastor Winston is my pastor. The last few times I was picKed up they had purchased new vehicles. I just thought it was another new car.
This is a BIG event, Cece Winans and other guests are here,they had to rent a few cars for tonight . No biggie, I just found it funny when I saw the enterprise tag.

People do what they have to do........I knew a family that would "borrow" their clothes from our local boutique to go to General Conference.

I NEVER understood that!

Think you are talking about Pastor Bill Winston!?!? I love his ministry he is a great preacher. I have never heard him live, but was going to once in TN and he had to cancel, but man he is good. Even when he is preaching a deep message he makes it ankle deep so everyone can get it.

I have seen on tv or maybe just pictures a portion of little Walker baby dedication. I saw him and Bishop Jakes praying for little Walker. I believe that you prophesied that Walker would be the Pres one day right? LOL

Well, I'm not sure now If I want him to be president now, I just believe he will do Great things!!
Bishop Jakes said walker was a modern day MOSES, he would lead people.

That reminds me.

I know a family that... regularly... will go and buy clothes for a special occasion... wear them to the special occasion... and then return the clothes afterwards.

I think that is terrible...
