Women can be feminine without being a feminist. But in THE CHURCH men are the determining factor according to scripture. If he is loving his wife as Christ loves the church, then his wife feels secure and safe, and doesn't have to go outside the marriage. Likewise if wives are under submission to God, then her husband, her husband is secure in the knowledge that he is the head of the family. These are not roles we are to assume, they are commandments of God.
