I wasn't sure how to go about this...

My first thought was to put it out there as a prayer request. But whereas, I never say no to free prayer, it's not really a pressing situation that needs immediate attention.

So do I just make an announcement? And if so, how do I approach it? Do I just say it matter-of-fact? Or should I try and do it in a humorous sarcastic way?

I have this whole transparency thing. I feel like in order to be me, I have to let everything show. There really is no pretense with me. For the most part this is a good thing, though it has definately bit me on the behind a time or two.

Anyway, that was a really big intro just to announce publicly that I am getting divorced. The end of any marriage is a sad thing. But sometimes it also brings relief and hope and optimism. So if you are wondering whether to comfort or congratulate me, the answer is both

(Oh, and though some people will find this next bit highly inappropriate, I just can't seem to resist! The fact that I first cut my hair, and second left church, and third am getting divorced is only a coincidence and has nothing to do with the slippery slope. )
