People are crazy, a women can pastor and still be in submision to here husband. The problem is the wrong teaching of the authority of a pastor. Leave your Roman Catholic traditions behind you and come into the light of the kingdom of God.

If culture says a women must be a slave to all those around her than no one will listen to her anyway. But our culture has moved into the place where a women is equal to her husband rather than a lesser person of society. Unless you are Muslum.

Is'nt that funny on one hand you quote Paul when he teaches on the relationship in the home that a women should not teach nor usurp authority over the man, but be in subjection.

What then do you do with the same teacher that proclaims that in the kingdom of God there is neither Jew or Greek, Male or female.

So many take this passage in I Tim. to suppress the female/women, to a position of servatude and not as a help meet as God origionaly intended. And just how is the women a weaker vessel? Is she not as smart as a man? Is she more inclined to sin? Common we know that neither of these are true, as many times the women is the more faithful in all things. The only thing and place a women is weaker in is within the physical relm of things and even then many times she far excells even in the physical relm.

It is time we start to understand just what the writter is saying rather than using scripture to back up our man made traditions.
