We must remember that there are production people standing off camera with signs which may read "Wind it up!" or "15 minutes left of air time!" or "Give a closing statement!"
We just do not know...
|
That is true....but I have been to 3 TBN tapings now and will say I saw Matt Crouch leave the platform and tell the production lady to STOP IT! I saw Laurie Crouch on this last show....when the ladies were speaking...the production person gave her some minutes and she said NO. They allowed a talking portion to continue because of what was being said.

ok, question. To all of y'alls that don't have a black influence on your services or no longer attend "apostolic" type of meetings....don't ya miss that???
You see that's 1 reason I cannot leave!!! I don't mean holy roller running churches that will hoop and holler cuz their favorite style of music is playing or their favorite preacher...I mean when GOD shows on up, and you don't know whether to cry, laugh, weep, moan, jump, shout, scream, run, dance, lay hands on somebody or yourself and pray them/you through!
Where you have to just calm yourself down before you act FOOLISH!
I don't ever want to lose that.
Recently we had a beautiful interruption of the Holy Ghost and you could literally feel/hear God speaking a call to prayer over our saints. I don't ever want to be away from that. Yes I enjoy good sermons, music, and fellowship, but the unction of the Holy Ghost...give me that, or I'll die!
I pray that God moves on/in you and I, In Jesus Name!

You know there were folks in the audience at TBN who just tried to keep it together, but you can't forget what God has done, hehe, and finally, I saw some people just give in to it and shout it down! There was some messed-up makeup that day, hahahaha!

Absolutely awesome.
I was at a Christian concert a few years ago where many churches sent their choirs and special singers. There was a big black lady from a Baptist church who was asked to sing. She started to sing the song "We are standing on Holy Ground" and God's presence came in like a flood. I was sitting in a chair and all of a sudden I felt like somone was was pouring warm oil on my head. When it reached my eyes I coudn't phyically see and when it reached my ears I couldn't hear the singing. I don't know where I was or even what I was doing (standing, sitting, whatever). When I could hear and see again I was standing and worshipping.
This kind of thing doesn't just happen in church services and church buildings ....

James 2
12 So whenever you speak, or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law of love, the law that set you free. 13 For there will be no mercy for you if you have not been merciful to others. But if you have been merciful, then God's mercy toward you will win out over his judgment against you.

One of the best blessings that I ever had, was at Music Conference in Jackson, Ms. The JCM choir and other visiting choirs had performed wonderfully and the music was great. Then this country trio got up to sing with nothing but a guitar. It was so simple, but God moved in me so strong while I listened to them sing.
It's like God himself spoke to me saying that he wasn't impressed with fancy chords, or perfect harmonies. What impressed him was the heart of the singer willing to let God use them no matter the talent level. Our best is always good enough for God!
