Can't tell you about the UPC, but I know the church has the means for restoration, but the process begins with repentance (turning away from sin).

Lord help me if they didn't. I ran there when I struggled and fell. I found my restoration at the altar of a UPC church, re-filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I was uplifted by ministers who had inspired words for me, and a family that did not give up praying upon my behalf. Could this have happened in another Oneness, Holy Ghost filled organization? Absolutely. But I am sure glad I did not have to search out somewhere to be received or admitted. I found that in a UPC church. God Bless

I was speaking of ministers who fall morally. They cannot be restored to the ministry in the UPC.

"...and such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the namne of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." (I Cor. 6:11)

If the man's exwife has forgiven him, and is willing to travel with him...who are you to judge his repentence.

Shame on you!

Because it's all part of the Politically Correct McChurch movement in America. There is no problem with anyone wanting to remember this man as far as his talent goes, but trying to laud him as if he was the same guy they knew as a teenager is immature. Now before anyone starts shouting as if they broke a nail, hear me out. Every time a Christian minister blows it the entire world gloats. When an apostolic ministers blows it, all apostolics are badly hurt.

Lanny Wolfe didn't just hurt himself and those that were placed under his care, but he caused a problem for all those who were trusting in him to be what he said he was, and apostolic minister and teacher.

If he has repented that's splendid and I wish him all the best, but as a reborn man, he should make restitution to the whole movement by proclaiming his deliverance from homosexual bondage. If he is already involved in speaking on that issue, then that would be a start to show everyone that he is moving forward.

But to have us all jump on some wagon to cheer on birthday parties and celebrations for a man who may be playing on the fallen societies weakness to accept his lifestyle is totally unacceptable.

I do not agree with certain things but it might be better to refrain from speaking against someone as things have a way to come home to us...

and I do not condone a wrong lifestyle but I do not feel it is right to say things on a public board against someone that is not really causing any of us harm that write on this board.

I had someone at my house the other day that has problems and the "holier than thou" gave me a long sermon...I only replyed. Friend, I am the only one at this moment that stands between this person and a wrong life style...the only one who stands between his and hell...Please let me try to help...

While certain life styles and spirits may seem impossible to change there is ONE who inspired the writer to say..."of such were some of you..."

Let us pray that every evil spirit be rebuked in Jesus Name from our homes and from our churches.
and no I do not condone evil and wrong doing but I do not condone judging and faultfinding...and I would not probably go to hear him sing...however he did write some beautiful hymns...I chose to remember him for that.
