BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINT SCANNING at my kids school!

They have this system at the Day Care where my grandchild goes. You can not get in the door with out putting your hand in the scanner. When my finger prints and code number match then the door will unlock.

This is the way I clock in and out at work. I type in the last four digits of my social security number and then slide my hand in a scanner. I have to admit, I have those "big brother" and "mark of the beast" feelings when I slide my hand through there, but I know that it's not - it's just another step in that direction.

If have to put your whole hand into it then it's a hand scanner and does not scan or even read your finger prints.

What it does is measures your hand. I've installed these things and there is really no harm in it. In fact next time use your left hand, but you have to flip it over. Your left and right hand are the same size on most people. If it works then you know that they don't have your prints.
