Sister Sherri-

I just wanted to tell you how glad I am that you and Bro. Eddie and all are safe. When I heard the storms were coming through Jackson I prayed for you , though, at that time, things were rough for us here. Wednesday morning, a tornado touched down near Pisgah, Al very near us. I haven't seen the damage but it was real close- too close- to us. But I'm glad to know y'all are safe.

Thank you, Rick. It's humbling to know that you would be praying for us, in the midst of everything you've gone through lately. Hope you're doing well, as well as can be expected.

Re: GREAT NEWS - Jackson, TN

I don't know if I should post this here or somewhere else, but the church in Savannah that was destroyed by the storm (Sharon Baptist) also has a school, which obviously was flattened also. The school is going to hold classes in a Methodist church here in Savannah, and the church is going to hold their worship services in the High School auditorium.

My mom attends a large Baptist church in the same town and they offered their education wing to the other church but they opted for the Methodist church. I'm sure they factored in many options before making their decision but it comes back around to people of different denominations breaking down walls and helping each other out in a time of disaster. I think it's great!
