One example is Ron Libby. He said in Amarillo, Tx, "some of you don't believe 100,000 got the HG in Ethiopia. Well bless God what if it was only 90,000 and repeated this phrase in increments of 10,000 until he got to the statement 'what if it was only 10,000?'"

I thought at that time that then it would be a bald face lie. Like saying 10 got the HG when only 1 did.

It was at this time that my suspicion started. At the next GC, my district youth director and I(district Home Missions Director) watched the Friday night crowd from the stands. We saw the same person get prayed for 6 times and the thumbs up to the platform for another with the HG. That was at Louisville. At Phoenix another large number prayed through. Thank God for the ONE soul that is now in the church in Phoneix.

I brought this up to one of the ranking men in HMD and he said it was the same report in all cities. Very few actually attend church afterward. I asked why we put so much into the crusade. He said, 'because people like being part of something big.' So Bishop1 or whatever his real name is probably got some real info.

It seems that people are still won to the Lord the old fashion non-glamorous way of one on one.

Not saying that I disagree with the concept of one on one soul winning (however there is Biblical precedent for large "crusades" with large numbers being won, seems like there is a little incident in the book of Acts).

But a couple of things struck me in your post,

#1: in your "thumbs up" story, are you making the claim that the people on the platform and the separate people praying on the floor were all working in some kind of devious plot, or that possibly they might have made some mistakes in the midst of a powerful altar service?

#2: are you intending on portraying yourself in the negative light that you do in the whole "watching in the stands" account? Because it doesn't reflect real highly on you or your spirit.
