Denomination Jumpers
Several members in our church have left in droves to join other denominations. They feel non-Apostolic churches tend to have more programs, activities, etc and they're able to better utilize their "gifts".
They also feel they can be a "light" to other denominations.
These denominations "believe" in the gift of the Holyghost ( optional not essential) but do not baptize in Jesus Name.
The members that left state as long as they live holy it does not matter what church they join. They are not required to be re-baptized in Father , Son & Holyghost.
Thoughts ?

Re: Denomination Jumpers
If you love programs and activities more than you love Truth, I guess I can see it.
Otherwise, no.

I would likely separate myself from said "non-Apostolic" church.

Re: Denomination Jumpers
well, in my opinion, I don't think one can leave a church that preaches truth and attend a church that does not preach the whole truth...and still be right in the eyes of God...even if they are "still living right"
Some may take me to task for this example, but I am reminded of when the Philistines put the ark of the covenant in the temple of their god Dagon, in 1 Sam. 5....When they went into the temple, they found their false god lying on it's face before the ark of the covenant. Truth always prevails and you can't mix truth with falsehood....
Forgive me if I took this out of context but that is how I see it.... There aren't enough programs out their to entice me to leave a oneness church....if they baptize in the titles of the Father, Son, and Holyghost...then they aren't oneness.....

I answered the question at face value, but I must confess to having some of the same thoughts.
Any time folks leave any church in droves, there is usuall more to the storry than meets the eye.
I am not implying that our sister was telling less than a true account, she just may not know everything.
