I don't get "upset" as you put it. Saddened and weary, yes. Upset, no.
And who knows? The "wnd bloweth where it listeth" and "I may never pass this way again." (It all depends on the prevailing climate.)

I remember back several years ago when I felt the same way about the FCF forum. All the UC's OWNED that place and didn't care what liberals got dashed to the ground in the muck-ups!

Now, I certainly do not recall that. As I have said before, from my observation the pendulum swings both ways over time and usually corrects itself. To be honest though, I have to agree with PP as I don't see much correcting of the balance here. Blame can be placed any number of places and it would be futile IMO to lay at any one group's feet.

well if all the cons hadn't left we'd still have a balance around here.
I was really ticked about it - It made you all look cowardly like you
couldn't tackle the libs

Believe me, that was and is the least of my concerns. How many that left do you really think care that folks here might have thought them cowardly?
Mark, after enough efforts to fight the good fight of faith the last thing you can call a person is a coward. As scripture says "It is better to be a live dog than a dead lion." I have watched way too many bloodbaths and the altering of way too many folks in these venues. That is when I tend to bow out for a season. I am here for a time just to see if I want to be here on a more regular basis. No more. No less.
I really had no intent of this being a serious thread at all. Sorry.

I will agree with all of this post except the "cowardly" accusation.
I think some cons left on principle not out of cowardice.
I do think a few left out of cowardice or not being able to stand the heat in the kitchen. For some when criticism came for associating with liberals and exUPCers they turned tail and ran. Didn't want to lose those booked meetings or fellowship or reputation.
A shame they couldn't have stood up for the principle of being mature enough to maintain ones convictions and doctrine while reaching out to others outside that paradigm.
If the complaint is that AFF is skewed too much toward the libs and exUPCers then no one is to blame but the conservatives themselves for leaving.

I just had to post that for the DRAMA of it all.... 
But really, it's all in our own perspectives. The ranting really hasn't changed much. Just a different majority. 
I think you should be in charge of setting up a committee to figure this out.
