Then I guess the cult members should take it as a complement

Since I don't have those chaps available for comment, and that your scenario has NEVER happened to my wife and I, or church fellowship I cannot really give you an answer. Any way it's no smoking across the board where ever we travel.

I've been all over the United States, to almost every major city, and I have never bumped into any three piece suited men. In Manhattan, during the week, Washington D.C. but still those gentlemen don't look apostolic.
Down in here in Fort Lauderdale, people are ultra casual, and those who are business men or business casual. Lawyers down here are pretty frumpy looking.

We are talking about both, people who see us all the time, and those who are visitors to our city.

Why would that seem odd? In Pentecost they have dramas to attract people to church, dinner on the grounds to attract people to church, also other activities for the same purpose. Did you ever hear of someone getting converted because they like someone who was attending the church, and visited, and when they did they received the Holy Ghost? It happens.
So, I don't think it's strange when people sit down with us and ask us questions based on attire and then what a card for church services.

Sister, I think it's both and that is why Jesus had a problem with the Pharisees hypocrisy in Matthew 23. They look beautiful and righteous on the outside, whitewashed brilliance, but inside they were serpents ready to strike their unsuspecting prey.

If we wear what we wear, we better look the same way on the inside.

Lord bless you Sister H.O. and your family.

In Jesus name

Brother Benincasa
