What is our purpose here on Earth?

Revelation 4:11 (KJV) 11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

I guess our reason for being created is to bring pleasure to The Creator.

Why is this a bad thing ?

You do realize that if you ever reach a point that you feel your doing it all right and are where you should be without the need to go further, thats when you need to be down on yourself..

this is the whole point in striving for perfection, we can never get there, but as long as we are trying we can't go wrong.
