Dinner?

Oh yeah. That meal coming up soon.

Um.

Probably this rice mix I make when I have leftover rice.

I dice onions and celery and throw those into a cast iron pan with oil. Add rice, meat of whatever sort we have leftover. Frozen veggies, maybe a can of black beans or something like that. Salt, pepper, whatever else looks good.

Suppose I should go get that started. lol

You brown a pound of ground chuck/round with onion or onion powder, salt & pepper. Drain. Add 1 can Pet Milk, 1 can Rotel, 1 Taxo seasoning mix and 2 lb. Velveeta. Cook until the cheese melts and is creamy. Serve over Fritos.

Very UNHEALTHY and very GOOD!!

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

I haven't eaten yet today, so I hope something soon.

(I'm secretly hoping for my baby back rib combo at Chilis down the road.... but then I have to make a scene (again) as I refuse to do the whole public hand holding/loud prayer thing -again.)

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

Baked/grilled pork ribs with seasoned salt, garlic salt, and grill mates steak seasoning, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and turtle brownies.

Not real healthy, but very good. They will be done around 8-8:30...had a really late lunch.

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

Big roast, carrots, potatoes, salad for supper.

If anyone cares... I fixed a late brunch this morning of fried potatoes and Scotch Eggs - they are really good.

We had pan grilled talapia in a butter and wine sauce, fresh asparagus in butter and lemon sauce, wild rice, rolls and strawberry shortcake.
