TVs are like what computers were 5-10 years ago, where they change or upgrade almost weekly!

I heard that the newest thing coming out later this year will be wireless TV connections, instead of having all those cables running everywhere! The only thing that can't be replaced is the electrical plug-in.

Here's a picture of the 150-inch next to last-year's largest, the 103-inch plasma:

I plan to use one on my desk as a PC monitor. Maybe then I can finally make out the print on some of those MySpace pages.

Not sure, it doesn't say in the article...but my 'source' mentioned it would run around $100,000.00.

Ok... Not sure if this should be on this thread or on the idiot thread but here goes...

Ok as yall know we have moved just a few (hahaha) times... well.. when we moved into our second and last house in La... It had been a satanic church prior to our church getting the house and helping us move in and remodel... well there were tons of things left behind...but considering the history of the house nothing I really cared to keep... well honey worked right there close so I would work on gutting and the remodel with the church folk during the day and when he would get off of work he would go and do some... clean out was all mine...

So EINSTEIN wifey here.... There is this huge Oh Id say bigger than 60 in but smaller than the 90 in... projection tv... sitting in the living room... they told us it still worked but nope... thing didnt even have a stinkin plug!!! So.... OFF with the thing!!!! Called in salvation army they came and got it and took it away!!! YAY!... oh no this was not a yay!

About a month later we had finally gotten to the garage... the person we got the house from was helping us ... we come across this huge plug... oh yes laugh now cuz I still am hearing about this one!!! Yep I asked... oh whats that too..."Its to that huge TV in your living room" hahahah NOPE that tv is gone now cuz it didnt have a plug!!!!!!!!!!! My husband is sooooooooo loving me still over this one!

OLED televisions are the next big thing. They bring a whole new meaning to "flat screen".

While current Plasma and LCD Tv's are considered flat screen at a couple of inches thick OLED screens are just 3mm thick. There are 25.4 mm's in an inch!

Right now because they are not produced in volume the cost is extremely high. In 2009 Sony will introduce a little 11" one for about $2200.00 Another mfg (Toshiba or Hitachi I think) is going to introduce a 30" one but no price announced yet. If it takes off eventually prices would come down to compete with Plasma and LCD.

Just think how thin laptop computers will be with OLED screens!
