How about a Word Studies area divided into sub catagories of Greek and Hebrew in the doctrinal discussion area?

That sounds great. One point: In working with Greek translations, it will frequently lead back to the Hebrew. However, it is still possible to keep the two subject areas separate.

Boy threads like this can be dangerous, because they require thought,I guess we can get someone's permission to think.

I don't generally ask for permission to think.

Re: Greek Studies??
Starting out as aninteresting study - of course my effort was entirelay from the old Gesenius Lexicon, and haromized with the JPS Tanakh. That was about a year befoe I discovered the Bluebible edited Gesenius (see above post). At any reate, I think I really need to clairity on the issue we are discussion - I admit I have lost sight of it. Is it that the word "wear" is not part of the Hebrew text? Or is it that the usage is missing in the Gesenius Lexicon for the text quoted?Or, is it something else? Not trying to be "trying", just trying to get clear on what is going on.
Of coursed, I did not use the term "wear" in my translation, but what I considered to more accurate, "put on" or "adorn", take upon herself to use. See image #5.
It has been a long day - and I need some help here.
Then, I am also willing to wait for your translation and commentary.

LOL! I think it all started from posts 12 and 15.
But I think it's pretty much cleared up by now. Maybe?

Then, it was a great non-exercise. I would still liek to see your translation and commentary if you are up to doing it (time, enegry, etc.), and kids not withstanding! LOLOL.
It really is good to exchange some posts with you.
Thanks.

I knew that's what you were going to be getting at.
It is good....I should wander over to your forum again one of these days. How are things going there?

Hey, I am still a student! LOLOL I'll receve instruction from any and everyone who can increase my knowledge or understanding of those things concerning God, even from young whippersnappers like you!
Over at my new house - we still have more visitors than members, and fewer posters. Even so, we have some interesting threads. I even have a board set up for members to publish "articles" they have written. So, of course you would be most welcome.
