Re: The Cup of Blessing! New Testament In His Bloo

What a wonderful, post, story and testimony!! Loved reading that, Sister Falla!

I have been pressed down by a situation that looks like it will never end. Something we've all experienced, no doubt.

The Lord told me to read Isaiah 53. When I got to verse 12 the "alarm" goes off, so to speak. LOL When you know which portion He is wanting you to focus on.

It was in verse 12 - "Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil (booty) with the strong;"

It was always His intention to give us life and abundantly! Because of his birth, death, burial and resurrection we sit in heavenly places and HE "divides the spoil" with us. Everything we need - He gives us. It is a promise.

So, when things come our way to disappoint us, we can still stand on the promises of God.

Amen!

You are SO right, Sis. PressingOn. Just keep pressing on until the answer
comes, for it will come. God's promises are yea and amen! God's promises
never fail.
Sometimes we are put into a position to have to wait upon the Lord.
His promise is that "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and
now be weary, they shall walk and not faint. There is that peaceable
fruit of reward at the end of the wait!

Blessings,

Falla39

Sis. PressingOn,

Years ago I heard a messge entitled "Blessed, Broken and Given Out".
It touched me as I thought of how Jesus blessed the bread, broke it
into pieces, and gave it out to all that were present. Just as He did the
loaves and fishes on the hillside, to the multitudes present there. There
was enough, after the blessing of it, for all to have something to eat,
and twelve baskets left over. It was showing that there was plenty for
whosoever will come, as many as the Lord our God would call.

To whom is given much, much shall be required. We are responsible for
that which has been given to us. We MUST not keep it all for ourselves.
The truth we hold within our bosom must be shared. If Grandma had not
shared with her son, my father, and he and Mom with us, we would not
have received our "cup of blessing". I have endeavored to "pour into our
children and they into their children, the "cup of blessings" which we bless,
a sharing in the blood of Christ. The New Testament/Covenant plan of
salvation, in HIS BLOOD!

Blessings,

Falla39
