Definitely borders one of the worst.
And the only reason why most of us continue to sing it is because of the humiliation it brings on the individual as we serenade them with this tune in public.

"Borders" on the worst? It IS the worst. I remember hearing it for the first time as a young lad who, at the time, was 101% behind the holiness policies and standards yet remember thinking "common! Isn't this taking separation to a ridicules level? Not even being able to sing the traditional birthday song??".

I have only ever heard it sung in UPC churches, but I am sure it is also heard in some non-denominational ones as well. Just guessing.
