Oneness not Biblical?
Acts 2:38 not Biblical?

I'm not sure on either. If you was to ask my opinion, I would say that neither is, but I'm still not sure.

Jfrog, you don't seem sure about anything.

After you've had to modify your views as much as me you wouldn't be so sure of all your current beliefs either

Re: Tithing…Is it a command?

I am from CA and ended up in a very similar circumstance as you from this issue...I cannot find a church that teaches freewill giving in my area that is oneness, keep the faith and dont give up looking. I am waiting on the Lord for what to do next.

Well I am in CA, I do preach tithing, but people have the freewill (get it) to give or not give, no one is going to single them out or shame them and no one is going to kick anyone out.

So no, I will not stop preaching the tithe, just like I am not going to stop preaching against adultery, thievery or murder.

Well, practice what you preach...Tithing is theft(forced giving to be a disciple, or EXTORTION)....

Re: Tithing…Is it a command?

The closest thing that we have found to a church that doesn't demand tithes every service is Calvary Chapel. They have a little box at the back where you put your offering, and they do not take up offerings, at least at the Calvary Chapels we have visited. They are not oneness, they do believe Jesus is God, but lean more towards trinitarian understanding or explanation of the godhead. They have been loving and kind people for the most part. I have wonderful friends who are Calvary Chapel members, and they are some of the most dedicated Christians that I have met.
