Most of you probably know about Justpreachers.com and may even be members there as well. This is what I think is GOOD about JP:
I am thankful for a place where those who think mostly alike can get together and discuss things of importance to them.
Some left here because they felt that there were less and less who agreed with their viewpoint. So, JP was birthed with those folks in mind. Everyone needs a place of fellowship and that is the beauty of freedom in our country.
I am thankful for a place where those who are somewhat more conservative can find a place to encourage each other in their chosen path.
I know that there are many ministers in the UPCI and out who really enjoy JP and that it ministers to them.
I am thankful that they are respectful enough not to bash even us here on AFF.
May the Lord bless JP and use it to bless His sheep!
Pastor, I do hope this thread was not TIC. Regardless of the impetus for its formation the points you made are true. The only thing I would feel somewhat differently about is that the views expressed there are not always homogeneous as one might think. There are even occasional 'spats', after all ministers are people as well. However, by and large there really are some interesting threads there, and I will attest AFF bashing is not allowed.
