In answer to the original question, personally, I ignore them.

I have just had too much garbage to deal with in my life to have the patience to deal with people like that. I actually have to avoid/ignore a whole lot of people who create problems for themselves and live their lives like it is one big drama. I don't have time to waste on that kind of nonsense...

Possibly NOT the most Christ like approach, but it helps to keep me from killing people. And that is good, right?

Someone posted the other day, that run on sentences was one thing that upset them on AFF and I responded and now you go and post this lonnnnnnnng, tiring, exasperating, infuriating, ridiculous, over stated, unnecessary sentence. When I finished reading it I was out of breath. You did it just to show us. Now you post and think you're so intelligent, I want to see you diagram the long sentence above. Come on! if you're gonna use them then show us you can diagram them! You know, English class, diagram!
