I have to get a new tree skirt too, the one I have is just too old.
I would probably spend more on decorations than gifts if I could. lol

Right. I use a huge gold table cloth for my tree skirt. It has pinecones all over it. I haven't found a tree skirt that I like. I might buy some velvet in January when all the fabric goes on sale and make my own.

My mom made my tree skirt - she sewed sequins in the shape of santa, snowmen, Christmas trees - - it just sparkles under the tree! I'm so thankful she made it more me!

That is so special, Renda!!! I never find any that spread out large enough, but haven't been in the mood to sew one. I like my gold table cloth! LOL!

I love looking too! But it is definitely not realistic right now-but still pretty to look at (up close and personal would be fun too).
