I hope you well for all the souls you've reached, but I also hope the organization that I am affiliated with, blessing from God for the souls that they have reached as well as you.

Re: "Today, A Sad Day For The Upci"
I never had a problem with large nimbers getting the Holy Ghost at meetings until conference speakers started belittling and browbeating anybody that didn't agree. They condemned people as faithless who didn't believe the reports.
One example is Ron Libby. He said in Amarillo, Tx, "some of you don't believe 100,000 got the HG in Ethiopia. Well bless God what if it was only 90,000 and repeated this phrase in increments of 10,000 until he got to the statement 'what if it was only 10,000?'"
I thought at that time that then it would be a bald face lie. Like saying 10 got the HG when only 1 did.
It was at this time that my suspicion started. At the next GC, my district youth director and I(district Home Missions Director) watched the Friday night crowd from the stands. We saw the same person get prayed for 6 times and the thumbs up to the platform for another with the HG. That was at Louisville. At Phoenix another large number prayed through. Thank God for the ONE soul that is now in the church in Phoneix.
I brought this up to one of the ranking men in HMD and he said it was the same report in all cities. Very few actually attend church afterward. I asked why we put so much into the crusade. He said, 'because people like being part of something big.' So Bishop1 or whatever his real name is probably got some real info.
It seems that people are still won to the Lord the old fashion non-glamorous way of one on one.

Not saying that I disagree with the concept of one on one soul winning (however there is Biblical precedent for large "crusades" with large numbers being won, seems like there is a little incident in the book of Acts).
But a couple of things struck me in your post,
#1: in your "thumbs up" story, are you making the claim that the people on the platform and the separate people praying on the floor were all working in some kind of devious plot, or that possibly they might have made some mistakes in the midst of a powerful altar service?
#2: are you intending on portraying yourself in the negative light that you do in the whole "watching in the stands" account? Because it doesn't reflect real highly on you or your spirit.

Re: "Today, A Sad Day For The Upci"
upci holy ghost crusades are a joke. for all they put into them with very little results. Most of the crusades are puff and useless, and not even directed to the ''seeker'' unless to embarass them by asking people who haven't gotten the holy ghost to raise their hands. the altar workers aren't trained to pray with people and a far more percentage go away from the crusade w/out the holy ghost than walk away from a benny hinn crusade w/out a healing. Give an A for effort, but an F for implementation.

Answers to #1 I doubt anybody had a devious plot, but , good people were caught up in somethiing that was not totally true by the numbers.
#2 We were actually going down from the top to pray when we were stopped by the crowd and forced to watch. My friend saw what I related and told me. I probably would not have caught it by myself.
The Jews only needed convinced that Jesus was the Messiah and large groups came at once. You do not see the same ingathering of multitudes when they began to reach the Gentiles. Corinthians showed us that they didn't even know fornication was sin.
