Re: Okay...So what's for Easter Dinner?

I didn't cook it all. We had a potluck at my brother's house, but here's a short list of what we had:

Ham
Baked Potatoes
hash Brown Casserole
Corn Casserole
Green Bean Casserole
dinner rolls
crescent rolls
Cinnamon sugar butter for the rolls
marinated carrots
Ramen noodle Broccoli Slaw Salad
Egg with ham and bread casserole that my mom makes.
stuffing casserole
deviled eggs
pasta salad with broccoli and cauliflower (made by 11 year old Cara from scratch)

and for dessert
Death By Chocolate Cake
Banana Nut Bread
2 kinds of fudge
cherry cheesecake
oreo cheesecake
brownies

Now I know that I am forgetting some things, but you get the idea.

Re: Okay...So what's for Easter Dinner?

We had lasagna and ham. LOL! aint that funny.

I made a lasagna with homade pasta. it was awesome.

my brother in law mad his family ham that he makes every year. It is a recipe passed down from Father to son for we dont know how many generations. but is is the best ham I have ever eaten.

someone made Asperigus and someone else made carrots.

we had birthday cake (my niece turned 16 yesterday) and we had blueberry cheese cake.

it was wonderful.

Re: Okay...So what's for Easter Dinner?

What happens when you have 30 different picky people...

fried catfish & french fries
fried pickles & onions
fried eggplant (we might fry you up a dishrag in the south)
relish tray
coleslaw
chips & guacamole
cheese ball & crackers
ham
baked chicken & bbq sauce
baked beans
potato salad
french bread
sugar cookies
chocolate cake
coconut cake
and last but certainly not least...
blue bell homemade vanilla ice cream! (there is no other ice cream that holds a candle)

The best part is that I didn't cook any of it!

Wow, that sounds like my in-law's idea of a good meal! What part of Louisiana are you in? They are in Covington.
