No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

no, but neither is he HAMAS candidate of choice. I am highly skeptical of obama, too many muslim ties, depite his efforts to distance. Any politician will do anything to get in office, it's not like they are full of integrity. I can see Obama getting in office, nd then being very "friendly" towards muslims and satanic, whoops, islamic ideals.
As for McCain, I will vote for Him because he is the lesser of two evils, not because I think He is most qualified to run the country. In fact these are the worst 2 choices there has even been in my lifetime, what a shame that in a country of nearly 300 million that these are the two best we can do. Yuck! I don't think either is qualified.
My point was nothing short of Obama recieving the baptism of the Holy Ghost will get him my vote.
Where have you gone Ron Paul? A nation should be turning their eyes to you.
(ps-don't read to far into that last line, just a joke-we are in political trouble, and its going to get worse before it gets better, no matter who is the president in 2008,2012,2016-even so,come Lord Jesus)

Jason, I don't believe all the hype about Obama being a Muslim. He's as American as you or I and claims Christianity, not Islam.

I don't really believe all the hype about him being muslim either. However, at the same time, I do not think him to be a patriot who has our nation's best interest at heart either.
Rico, you should have run for president. Then for the presidential theme song could have been the theme to Sanford & Son. I can just imagine you walking on the stage in full beard to the tune playing...  You could stand next to one of the junker cars on the White House lawn while making your State of the Union speeches every year. You could then choose Chtatum for a fully bearded Presidential ticket.... It would have been glorious!
But now look at the choices you have left us with!
