I was in the UPC for 20+ yrs and have been out for over 10yrs. I had great times and saw some despicable things when it comes to treatment of the brethren. All in all, I think it has seen better days and that the best are behind it. However, I don't want to see anyone fail. I don't want to see an organization fail. Many of us could tell our horror stories of abuse and the like in the UPC and other orgs for that matter.
It really doesn't do us much good to do that though other than getting it all out, which may need to be done from time to time. But get it out, get healed and then move on. I really hope the UPC does have a turn around and come back. It's failure won't be due to my tearing it down and it's victory won't be due to my involvement. May God have His way!!
