Well...tonight...I was SUPPOSED to be in Stockton for the Tye Tribbitt concert and support Thad and his choir. Unfortunately, that could not happen...so now, I am here, WISHING I was there.

My boys have taken my van so they could haul a group of kids from our church youth group to see Spiderman 3, so I am going to spend the evening checking in here on AFF every little bit and also working on some nightlights that I am making to take to a craft sale. I suppose I should also work in a load or two of laundry while I'm at it. And I have to prepare a thing for next Sunday morning for church.

Next Sunday will be the one year anniversary of Walt's aneurism. They've asked me to prepare a thing where I will have a list of the needs and requests that came up in chronological order through this. After I tell what the need was, someone else will answer with how God answered the prayer for that need. So far I have about 14 different points. And I'm not near finished. Obviously the point of this is that God will receive the honor and glory that He so deserves for what He's done. But if it's going to be finished on time, I will have to get started today. That will take a large part of my time and attention this evening.

This does seem a bit weird for a Christian school, huh? Zac's was a banquet and then the senior parents did a dance that I had to pay $60 for even if he chose not to go. So he and his date went for a couple hours, but they don't either one dance, so it was basically just standing around and talking and watching a few of the inebriated ones acting out on the dance floor. After he took his date home, he hung out with his friends until 3 AM, but I wasn't worried about him; he has a good head on his shoulders and has never given us any trouble. I thank the Lord all the time for a good 18 year old son!!

Getting leftover yard sale items marked to send to put on consignment at church thrift store. It's already too hot to mess around with yard sale stuff out in this heat!!

Later we're cooking out...

That's about it..

Just finished cooking 3 full slabs of spareribs. 3 hrs. in the oven at 200, then 20 min on the wood charcoal fired grill. The girls and I ate one slab.
