LOL...whoever told you that isn't that close of a friend of mine. Simply not one bit of truth in it. Guess I have more friends than I know about. I have lots of people I call "friends" that I haven't seen or spoke to in years...doesn't mean they know our ministry or church.
I preach the same doctrine I always have...could you make the same claim?
What I teach and preach wasn't defined by anyone attacking anything. Besides... I don't worry about attacks...the blessing of Matt 5:11 applies.
Dan you are free to believe whatever you choose to...
My question for you is...if it's not bitterness...why can't you just walk away?
Why create websites & blogs to discredit men of God and the UPCI? Is this your ministry? Is that really the legacy you want to leave? Dan Alecia ...(aka "The guy that hates Bro Stoneking & the UPC). Is that who hurt you? He's from New York too...coincidence? If your revelations are so powerful...go use them. Go start a church. Travel and preach. Write books. Start a TV show. Preach your non-doctrine-doctrine. Go win souls (however you would do that). Go for it...yet...here you are...arguing against the same doctrine that your Dad vowed to preach when he was alive and licensed with the UPC. You say your Dad believed like you do now...but I just don't believe that...and neither do some of the people who knew you as a teenager.
I believe you are good person who was sincerely hurt by someone at a particularly low time in your ministry, health or perhaps family...probably not Bro Stoneking (but you have to admit that is a coincidence).
Man...leave it alone...you cannot enjoy this constant battle against anyone who vows to believe the doctrine of the UPC.
Many on this forum have chosen another direction than the UPC...and they follow their doctrine....that's okay. We are all free to do this. Each of us will answer to God for what we preach and believe. If that's what you feel the Bible teaches...just do what many on AFF have done...walk away.
You haven't done that...You claim to celebrate freedom from the UPC and it's doctrine but you are one of the most bound people I've witnessed. Let it go... Go out and do something with your ministry. If you can't think of anything else to do, come to Katy and start a church. Save the world by building a Dan Version Christian Church. Stop being the "That guy that hates".
Okay...enough AFF for a while...a long while...lol. In the end I will continue to preach what I've always preached and you will continue to believe what you believe. No one will ever debate someone else into a change of doctrine...I don't expect to. I am probably foolish for even engaging this conversation one last time...but I don't think you are hopeless "IF" you will resign this personal battle you have going. Healing is a choice... If you are going to leave the upc...leave. You are fighting the wrong battle...Bro Stoneking, UPCI and "it's standards" are not your enemies. Neither am I.
