Re: My favorite preachers

I apologize for the length of my last post, hopefully balanced by the simplicity of this one.

I haven't heard him enough to comment on his entire ministry. The messages I have heard both took place within a 2 month window of time. Perhaps he was going through a phase. My limited personal dealings with him have been very favorable. I wish good, godly men would spend more time preaching the truth in love than preaching tradition in condemnation.

Oh Brother Jesus Christ is my ALL time favorite preacher. I have his message from when he went on a mission trip to Jerusalem. Such a powerful message. It's sad that the wicked people in Jerusalem had to kill him. Oh, it's not easy to be a missionary.

Brother Jesus Christ was so humble in his preaching. In fact, during on his preachings, he bent and started washing the foot of his congregation. Oh such humility. He was definitely a man approved of God.

I don't have his messages on tape nor video, but I do have eye-witness accounts of his ministry. Let me know if you want them...

I am pretty sure the right reverand Christ didnt include "blessed are the jerks with an ax to grind"

one might find that instructive.

So true. Its too bad too many men get behind the sacred desk with an ax blade already honed to a fine edge, ready to swing it at saints doing their dead level best to live for God daily in a crazy world.

The pulpit, lecturn, podium, or any number of words have been used to describe it. Including, in the case of the one at Bro. Booker's, huge.
