Stuff like racism isn't always broadcasted.

Hey FZ our congregation is a good mix of ALL people, that is one thing that is important to us in a church home.

Yes, it is JM's daughter.

Maybe, if you still have a connection with this pastor, you could talk to him? I don't know if other pastors have tried to talk to him or not, but I do know the pastor of the boy she wants to marry thinks they should. And they are in the same fellowship group.

I'm sure you are referring to Steve Epley when you say "you".

Well that sound like a great church except for that little thingy (the trinity) I would be tempted to visit.
I do not like to worship with trinies, I might get the cooties.

At one time I did feel close to this Pastor I preached for him in PEI. His first 2 thanksgivings I was at his home in SA. We are somewhat friendly but since I left the AMF seven years ago and the last few years in the AMF there was already a division in it and we were in separate camps that strained our relationship. He and I have never had a personal problem. Knowing his personality his close associates(which are all in a trumoil themselves) could only help the situation. If the boy's pastor cannot intervene and help I see no help coming. If I was as close to him as I one time was I would have no hesitation is trying to mediate the issue but atlas my advise would not be wanted nor accepted. I will say this pastors raised in the time frame must realize the prejudices that were engrained were not healthy and that day is over. I had a battle with this myself I acknowledge it was not culturally acceptable and we are all products of our cultures like it or not. Racism is a sin however every objection might not be racism. I certainly do not know?
