Do you think he'll run in 2020? It almost seemed to me like a farewell speech. His story of the last hug and kiss just stick out to me as though he believes this was his final speech.
I hope he runs in 2020. After 4 miserable years of either Clinton or Trump, hopefully people will come to their senses. Then again, Trumpsters remind me of obamites, who still to this day support him.

Re: GOP National Convention
Reports of the verbal assaults on Heidi Cruz as she had to be escorted out by security are sickening. And the reports of Ted Cruz being verbally harassed by the Washington State Chairwoman and then nearly physically assaulted in a suite after the speech are truly disgusting.
Trumpsters....special bunch you all are.

All these Trumpsters whining about Ted allegedly breaking his promise...
Here's Trump at a CNN Town Hall in March stating he will not honor the pledge:

"Walking Small
By Mike Huckabee
The question of the night was whether Ted Cruz would honor his word and support the nominee or earn the moniker “Lyin Ted” given to him by the man who won. The question was whether Cruz would make his speech about HIS future or the future of the country. And that question was answered when Ted Cruz chose to not keep his word that he (along with me and every other GOP candidate) gave one year ago in that very arena where tonight he put his own ambitions above country.
Donald Trump did something no previous nominee has done—he allowed Ted Cruz to speak without his promising to support the nominee. I’ve spoken at every convention since 1992, and I can attest to the fact that no one got near that stage without supporting the nominee. Trump trusted Ted and was rewarded with a betrayal, but the delegates in that arena booed Cruz off the stage and out of Cleveland.
I’m certain that many of you will react harshly and angrily to my words. So be it. But when a person gives his word, he should keep it. When a person is treated with generosity to give a speech, he should either respond with respect or graciously decline. And when a person loses, he should accept the will of the voters and then offer support to the victor of the primary to defeat the anti-gun, pro-abortion, incompetent, dishonest, and dishonorable nominee of the Democrat party.
So fire away with your comments, Facebook Friends. But from where I sit, I didn’t see a statesman step forth for the country’s future. I saw a self-absorbed politician grab the microphone and try to line up his own future. Ted walked in tall and walked out small."

Re: GOP National Convention
Hey N David---I don't care what you do with your vote. I don't have any illusions that you'll vote for Trump. I'm simply happy to point out how foolhardy and bullheaded your reasoning is.

Re: GOP National Convention
As I predicted, the Melania plagiarism story is now a non-story.
Thank you Ted Cruz.

Every Conservative and a lot of Democrats know that Mike Huckstersbee is still angry that Iowa chose Ted Cruz over him. That the religious state voted for Ted Cruz and not Mike Huckabee. Nothing he says means anything to anyone but the GOPe.
He reminds me of why I never once watched his show on Fox. I always had the impression he was a fake and a Goober.

Melania's plagiarism wasn't Watergate, but it was indicative of Trump's campaign.

The RNC put pressure on Ted, he wouldn't back down, the speech was given and he did what he promised he would do to his constituents back home when he was elected to the Senate - keep his word to honor the US Constitution.
And here you are defending your candidate while pretending to be against him. David had you pegged from the beginning - straddling both sides, so you could fall on which ever side would win.
