Bishop Richard Duffie

I came across a record by the Duffie Brothers (Richard, Alfonza, and Henry) out of Atlanta GA on the Gem Records label.

It's some amazing soul gospel grooves. Great stuff!

I know Richard Duffie is a bishop of the Mt. Calvary UPC of God, Inc in Griffin, Georgia, a suburb outside of Atlanta.

Is anybody here familiar with him? Is he the same Richard Duffie that performed with the Duffie Brothers?

This is the record album: https://www.discogs.com/The-Duffie-B...elease/7616843

And if this is helpful: https://www.facebook.com/events/1554693658145725/

Any information would be appreciated! Thank you!

On a serious note I did a google search and not hardly anything on them beyond the links you already posted. I had hoped youtube might have some of their music on it but could not find any.

Well, thanks for trying!

After doing a lot of digging, I finally found the Bishop's Facebook page. It appears this is the man from that band. He has a picture of himself with a singing group called "The Duffy Brothers."

Not sure why his last name was spelled wrong on a picture on his own Facebook page, but still... that links him to this group right there!
