More in common with Billy Graham-Jerry Falwell-Charles Stanley than the Apostolic church. But to each his own. Birds of a feather flock together.

I'd rather be a bible-believing Baptist than an idol-toting, tradition-saturated, sacramentalist Catholic.

I was about to start a new thread and ask the question why is the "divine flesh" doctrine such a big deal, but I figured someone would've said it was already talked about in another thread.....so........
what is the big deal?
I've heard that early Apostolic fathers taught or believed it?
Why is it such a divisive issue?

Because it denies the humanity of the Sonship.
I can't believe you don't know why it isn't a big deal...heaven help us.

We have discussed it recently .... here
http://www.apostolicfriendsforum.com/showthread.php?t=6515
There are some who would make it heaven or hell ... which it is not ...
and some UC's have "odd" teachings that are cousins to DF
Like Elder Epley's endorsement of the "DIVINE BLOOD/SPERM" doctrine!!!
