If one truly believes that the scripture that says that women should not wear mens apparel then that would, of necessity, include pajama pants.
If pants are mens apparel and women aren't supposed to wear them then pajama pants would fall in the same category.
What other sins are okay at home that aren't okay away?
I have more to say but what I have already typed will probably be skewed from what I meant so I won't add any more fodder.
I don't think near as many people really and truly believe it is a sin to wear pants as say they do

I agree.

Here's one for you, Dora: One year on choir tour, the girls were getting dressed in the Ladies' bathroom after singing. The robes were so HOT that most girls just wore their slips underneath and would change into church clothes afterwards. So...we're standing in the bathroom putting on our clothes, (no one wearing any less than a slip) and this militant modesty female type marches in and starts loudly lecturing the girls for getting dressed outside of the stalls, and talking about a "spirit of lesbianism!"
We just kind of stood there with our mouths open--most of us wondering who REALLY had the problem!

Very disturbing, to say the least.
That's approaching "spiritual abuse" territory right there, sad to say.
Its stories like that that get out and really give Pentecostals a bad name.

I remember a case of a Japanese exchange student who had come to Pentecost. She had been baptized but hadn't received the Holy Ghost yet. I was in NY at the time, and she had spent some time in Texas before coming up to NY for a while, to stay with friends, I believe.
She told me how one of the church sisters she was staying with in Texas gave her a hard time about wearing makeup. Once, the sister took her to the bathroom and made her look in the mirror and said to her "See, don't you see how that makeup makes you look like a prostitute?" My heart just sank when I heard that.
She went back to Japan about a month or two later. About a month after that, we received an email from her saying she had gotten the Holy Ghost in Japan! I was so happy for her, and I was glad she had hung in there. Praise God!!
But I couldn't help but wonder how many people we have lost over the years, through overzealousness and insensitivity. I know it must hurt God's heart. It hurts me, for sure.
