Let me give a little background. My wife teaches at a Christina school, its non denominational but as far as their beliefs they are Baptist. My wife and some other ladies that teach at the school began to feel a need to minister to the girls in the school. This was totally a God thing, they teach in different areas of the school and in different buildings, so its not that they sat and talked about it. These five ladies came together and put together a conference for the middle and high school girls. They wanted to teach them about how to dress, how to act around boys, about the dangers of premarital sex, etc.
So They began talking to the girls about a month ago about an overnight conference they were going to put on, the response was more than they ever expected. They have 50 girls who have signed up, with parental consent. They got permission to use the church that is associated with the Christian school. The school ad ministration was thrilled and offered to pay for the food for the event. Ah but then it began to happen. The ladies that were putting this on began to have dreams about snakes. Then my wife went to leave for school and there was a snake blocking her path to the car. It coiled and hissed at her, she immediately thought of the dreams and rebuked it in the name of Jesus and threw a brick at it.
Now for the natural. After buying the food for the event (which begins tonight) suddenly things began to unravel. The school suddenly backed out on buying the food. Then they began to get grief about the event from the pastor of the church, who just days before was fine with it. The pastor walked in while they were setting up, and they had stopped to pray as a group. That’s when he realized that all 5 of the ladies were, as he called them, “Tongue talkers.” The catch is none of them were talking in tongues at the time. He used his influence to get the school to back out on paying for the food that had already been purchased, and is now trying to get the event cancelled literally at the last minute.
He has went to the administration of the school and lied saying he knew nothing about it until yesterday (which was when he heard them praying). The truth is he has meet with them several times over the last month and knew exactly what was going on. They are having a meeting today to see if they can go ahead with the event. This post is already longer than I intended or I would relate all of the supernatural events that lead up to this conference. Please pray for these ladies as they do what God has called them to, and that God would keep this door of ministry open.

I believe this is spiritual war. My 10 year old daughter had a dream the other night about one of the high school girls. Kari (my daughter) knows who she is but doesn't spend anytime with her. The young lady had come to my wife about some issues she was having and God gave Kari a dream that detailed not only the situation the young lady was in but the future for her if she continued the way she was going. It was amazing because Kari knew nothing about what was going on.
Because the public schools are so bad here many of the girls that attend the school have no church at all, yet 50 of them signed up to come and learn what God has for them. It's amazing the hunger that is there.
