I gave three years of my life, and a lot of hard work, to earning a Bible School diploma. It's easy to get irritated with these pseudo-doctors who sent three box tops and $25 to a post office box in Florida or California.

Dr. Vaughn has asserted to this board that he has a legitimate doctoral degree from a recognized university. The claim to a doctorate in theology is consciously, or subconciously, a factor in every theological discussion that he is involved in on this board.

Anonymity on these forums has been a part of the process since the earliest days of the Apostolic Internet. The purpose of an anonymous user name is so that the question is answered rather than the questioner.

This thread is not prying into the subject's personal life, but is requesting verification of a part of "Dr Vaughn's" public persona, a part that he interjected into public discourse when he chose to be identified as a Dr. He could have adopted a generic user name, and, if he had, we wouldn't be reading this amusing thread.

I let DV know he brought a lot of this questioning upon himself because of his username. I suggested he talk with admin about changing it. He's going to attract a lot of attention, with or without the "Dr", because of his Branhamite leanings. Dan Alicea already raked him over the coals over his credentials on another thread. What is the point of creating a new screen name just to do the same thing?

However, what you fail to realize is that I couldn't care less if you "stand up to me." You are Danny Devito compared to many other posters I have matched wits with.

In my world, a doctoral degree from Regent University carries a significant amount of weight. When the good doctor's claim to a wide variety of degrees from online universities and longtime friends proved to lack credibility, he appealed to his Regent degree for the credibility that the University of PO Box 777 lacked.

This thread claims proof that he doesn't have a Regent degree.
