Re: News Flash*** Benny Hinn and Wife Divorcing***
I heard that it's true.
I've never been a real big fan of Benny Hinn. But for me this does raise a lot of questions. What is a man of God to do when a spouse files for divorce? Personally how does he respond? How does this effect his calling? If actively ministering, how does this effect his ministry?

Maybe it was irreconcilable differences regarding how to cover up their financial wrong doings. Or maybe it was irreconcilable differences regarding a secretary or pool boy. We may never know.

I agree Timmy. Seems like those who support him aren't very rooted in strong moral concepts, that's why the Prosperity Gospel appeals to them... it's not about morality it's about prosperity. The majority of his supporters will most likely continue to support him.
Re: News Flash*** Benny Hinn and Wife Divorcing***
I heard her speak once in Memphis at a ladies' conference and she was very open and honest about her marriage. She said that she realized early into his ministry that she was going to have to sacrifice a normal marriage relationship and father-to-kids relationship for him to have the kind of ministry he was seeking. Basically she said he was absent and non-involved in family, but she was willing to live that way so God could have the glory in his ministry.
I thought at the time that it was very sad, and not what God would have wanted at all. He did make the family before He made the ministry. I guess she got to the point that she didn't want to live this way anymore.
Very sad....she seemed like a normal, God-loving person - not at all glitzy and "important" like some of her peers. But that was several years ago, so I don't know anything about her now. I do know there was that VERY weird video on FCF a few years back about the Holy Ghost enema. Not sure where in the world she was coming from on that!!!
