she is a pretty girl..if she likes the broach in her hair..that is her opinion...Everyone has their own styles....my little 5 year old grand daughter was walking with me and we passed a shoe store and they had some nice looking (to Me) walking shoes and she said, Grandma, they have your shoes!
I say be yourself...I guess I am plain Jane...but that is me...some people would not be theirself dressed like I do...and I sure would be unconfortable dressed like some of my best friends...we all are different...as far as outward standards we ALL have some kind of standard that we live by. We should respect each other, pray for each other and try to understand each other.
I don't think Renda meant anything bad about the girl the subject was her pin...and standards...
Yes, Sam people can take things and pictures off the forums and facebook...

I like Renda, I highly doubt that she posted this with bad intention.
I just think the thread is in poor taste. Just as I did when another forum posted a picture of another lady and it became and open free for all on opinons regarding her looks.
I may not have liked the way she looked myself at the time, but I thought it was disgusting they would discuss her looks on a forum like that. I was ashamed it was posted and I told Admin that.
If this girl's hair had been posted, her face hidden... but really, her whole face, people in the background... the fact that she was attending the UPCI general conference... all there for everyone to see and give opinion on.
Because it was posted on fb, that makes it ok?
I don't believe that, but since it was easy to copy and post elsewhere on the internet it has at least caused me to rethink my own fb settings.
This isn't a private conversation, this is an open public forum. I just don't think this girls picture needs to be here. She's not a public figure... she's not a politician, she's not even a preachers wife (that I know of) She's an innocent in all our "doctrine and dogma debates" and her picture has no place here. Unless she gives her consent.
We may be a free and public forum, but as a Christian forum, an "Apostolic" forum, we should hold to a higher standard than others right?
