I've heard Oh I Want to See Him sung at a couple of different tempos.

When I first started going to Bethel Tabernacle in Racine, WI back in late 1955 they sang it to a faster tempo. I've heard it since to a slower tempo.

I like the song.

I love "Oh, I Want to See Him". Don't see how it could be thought depressing, unless it's sung in a depressed tone. I've always heard it upbeat and sung with gusto. I do want to see Him.

Although I have been in church environments that could make any song depressing, I did like "Oh I Want To See Him". It was on page 93.

I knew people who called CLC compromisers because their music reached outside the upc four walls. People went as far to say they compromised doctrine because the cds were sold in a trinitarian christian book store.

The CLC youth chior with No Greater Love is one of my favorite projects.

Oh I Want to See Him makes us sound like we are beat up, washed up, struggling to make thru the pearly gates. It's almost like a Calgon, take me away commercial. I would pass on Christianity if that song was my only exposure to Christ.
