They are quite a bit more conservative but they were the closest parish to me by quite a ways, so that was the deciding factor (also they were the only ones open during COVID).

I hear there is a LOT of "politics" involved not only in ROCOR, but the other Orthodox churches as well, especially the OCA (which has its roots in ROCOR).

Politics and people gathering. Whether its a motorcycle club, or the United Pentecostal Church of Latter Day Saints of Cooper City. They all are politicking as they go. Everyone wants to be the leader of the pack.

My mom and both of my sisters have uncut hair, no thinning or baldness that I'm aware of.
