I think he needs to be held accountable for such claims. I have been doing it but he ignores me....after me pressing him for answers he not does not like the fact that I keep asking him to answer me and now THAT is his new excuse for not answering me. So far I have refuted each and every argument and pointed out his logical fallacies and he has no answer for them.

Prax, in his defense, he had admitted in taking things too far on some of his beliefs.

Re: Dr. V - You sure look like a Pentecostal!!!!
Doctor V, I didn't get an answer to my questions in my previous post above (#89).
I'm guessing that perhaps you didn't notice the post.
When you get a chance, I'd be interested in hearing your answer. Thanks.

Yes but I have some questions because of that. I asked them nicely. He read them and did not answer...did not say a word. Then when I pressed him he claims he did not answer because I am antagonistic. Well if I am antagonistic it is only because he keeps blowing me off.
Q: When and Where does Dr V speak in tongues?
Q: Does he speak in tongues in a church? And if so does it get interpreted?
Q: Does he speak in tongues when he is alone by himself? Does it get interpreted?
Q: Has he ever been in a Pentecostal service where there was a message in tongues and it was interpreted?
These I asked based on the assertions he made about what is supposed to happen and his accusations against Pentecostals in general

You can listen to the video posted from his site to get some of those questions answered, Prax.

Like what? Did he change his views here recently? When I brought up the voodoo thing he just made an excuse. See...he tries to make it seem that he is not being personal or never says anything that is insulting or mocking or whatever but we do....that is not the case. If he just answered me honestly to those respects rather than just blowing me off and trying to make it seem like it's all me, then I would have more respect for him.
I asked in another thread some questions about tongues. They were only questions. I did not say one thing about him personally. I was not antagonistic, I just asked. He read my questions and did not comment. I noted that then he claims he won't answer and then accused me of being the reason. I don't buy that. Am I antagonistic? I probably am at this point, that was NOT how I started out. But from the get go he has ignored my posts..which were all refuting his assertions and pointing out that his arguments were based on logical fallacies.

I seriously doubt he answers my specific questions and there is no way I am going to listen through hours of someones verbage to find an answer to my question.
His non answers tell me more than his answers could ever, I find his arguments lacking in biblical support and are internally contradictory.

BTW, I know he says he speaks in tongues, but I did not know that was daily. This is important though due to how he uses the word and particularly what Paul wrote.
You see, he claims there are several "church meeting" accounts where the only thing that went on was teaching, but the truth is he only has one account and that is Paul going on for a long long time instructing a local assembly. He points out that worship and prayer and other things were absent and thus do not belong in a local assembly. But I pointed out that was an argument from silence, to which he had no reply. So then the important question is, if you speak in tongues daily but not in a church meeting...what bible do you have for that being ok?
If this can be done and without an interpreter then does that not suggest a distinction in what one does in his personal time and the tongues that is meant for church edification to be interpeted?
I raised that issue and he blew me off saying he already addressed it. The later when I raised it again he mocked Pentecostals that make that argument and I asked him if he was serious about discussing it....a different kind of tongue, one for church edification and one that is the evidence of the baptism of the Spirit....he blew me off again.
See his arguments are inconsistent. I am pointing that out. It's not about him personally. It's his words. They are inconsistent. They are wrought with logical fallacies and in many cases he does not want to follow through with the examination of those assertions.

Because of all the many threads he's started, I do not remember which one it is that he made this admission. I do know that it was one that included the discussion on exuberant worship. He admitted that he had taken his beliefs too far and conceded that there is room in the Church for the way us pentecostals get to doin the shocakmoo and stuff.
