He usually cooks the Brisket in the oven for a bit before throwing it on the grill. One time we covered the brisket in fresh squeezed lime juice after seasoning. It was sooooooo tender and you couldn't taste the lime juice at all. One seasoning we stock up on while in Austin is the BBQ seasoning from Southside Market in Elgin. Man, it makes for some really good grilled pork steaks - excellent!

LOL... well that BBQ place in Elgin is my husband's favorite BBQ, hands down! And, he has bought me the same seasoning mix as well! Isn't that crazy!
The best way I've come up with making brisket, is to cook it in the oven as well, and then crisp it up on the grill.... yumm!!!! The fresh squeezed lime juice sounds amazing, I'll bet it was really tender.
We are having brisket for dinner tonight, but it is the HEB brand.... my husband really likes it, and I like the fact that you just pop it in the oven, and in two hours it is done!!!!

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?
1Ti 4:3.. ..Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4:4.. ..For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
4:5.. ..For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
4:6.. ..If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.1Ti
4:7.. ..But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

I grow mine in my garden. We stock up so we have enough until the next harvest
