Lord, they did a "gender bender" day here just recently. Two families pulled their children out of the public school and checked them into a private school!!

... BUT I did recieve an email on this and it made me sick to my stomach. What does it accomplish? They took out our moment of silence for those who wanted to say a quiet prayer...but then they want to push the gay agenda on children... That is asinine!

This school has about 4200 children that go there, but it is part of a huge school district. I also work for the school district and have spoken loud about my dislike of this day, but to closed ears.

Please pray for our children!

I just had to draw attention to this particular quote. What's the point of a day teaching "tolerance" if the kids see it as an excuse to protest and fight? They obviously are missing the point...if tolerance only is the actual message of this day (which I really doubt).

My sons school he went to in OKC is observing this thank God he is in Christian school now. Only one of our local schools is on the list!!!

My husband's old High School is listed. I see several in San Antonio and Austin that I recognize.

Ours is not listed, but it does say a partial list.
