Many are not comfortable calling them ... or themselves .... Jesus in informal settings ... including in church ...
Of course ... they are listed as Jesus on church rolls, directories, etc. Always making the distinction by saying both the first and last name together.
Yet in my experience we usually used the nickname or another way to address the person ... like Hermano Rodriguez...
Kinda like an unwritten rule.
Guess that makes me glad that the group I am part of is not so superstitious or silly.
Was going to say that we have many Latino's in our church but that would be an understatement =) seeing as how I attend an AAFCJ church, and I still have not heard of this.
not saying it is not true, just that I have not heard of it till now
I would caputure them, baptize them till they quit bubbling then cook them and eat their flesh.
there does that make you feel better?
well no not really. Since I have the name Mark, and since Mark was a disciple, and is the name of a book in the Bible, does that put me on your list of names of people you will do this too?
This is just silly to me, that anyone cares that much what someone else names their child. Now if it was lucifer or satan that would be different. And if we hate anyone then we do not have the love of God in our heart.
