I never spend more then 20 bucks and often less then 10. Because not only do I constantly break them, but I lose them the other half of the time. A pair will usually last me 3-6 months on average.

Maybe if you did spend more money you would be more conscious of them and not lose them?
I spent a lot of money on my latest pair after having my old pair for a couple years...I think I've had them for maybe 4 or more years. But I am a little hesitant to say how much I spent this time lol.

If I didn't hate wearing them, I would. Sun is very damaging to your eyes and we all should wear sunglasses whenever we go outside. It is well worth the money for a good pair if you won't break them or lose them.

I found this to be true. I am a big proponent of having good quality sunglasses. Cheap sunglasses are often worse than no sunglasses. ( http://www.livescience.com/health/08...unglasses.html)

I had an expensive pair of Coach sunglasses that was a gift and I made the mistake of wearing them in the ocean. The first wave that came along washed them out to sea!! Then I bought a pair at Target.

I would pay for an expensive pair of prescription sunglasses-- I like the idea of having a pair of those "Transition" sunglasses, with the formula to match my prescription.

Nope, because I forget to wear them when I have them. I have a cheap pair that I've worn for probably 5+ years. I don't have an issue with price normally, but I have a different goal I'm saving for.

My favorite and best pair came from Dollar General. I paid $1 for them.
