I remember hearing about how Pokemon was of the devil, based on ancient Japanese spirits, and produced by Wizards of the Coast, a company that also sells occult materials.

Of course... not all of the above is true. lol
That’s pretty much what the tract said.
It says that Pokemon uses evil/satanic signs, symbols, names, and powers. It warns that allowing kids to play with Pokemon(games/cards/books/etc…) creates a “Columbine” situation…where its influence will ultimately cause kids to imitate and try to use these pretend powers.
How can you get around that the are "POCKET MONSTERS (DEMONS)"!!!
In all seriousness though, I have played every type of RPG from the Original DnD to the Super Hero and Star Wars versions of it. It is all based off of dice rolling, like 1000's of other games.
I do understand the thought behind the "evil" description though. A lot of the stuff is designed off of the Occult "religion". The question though, is should be not participate in any worldly activity? Sports is based off of Greek Religion and Philosophy.
What do you call a person whom believes God to be three divine persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, distinctly coexisting in unity as co-equal, co-eternal, and consubstantial?

What is a Lunatic?
As to Pokemon, It is a game and a game only, it is no more evil than say, watching a Disney movie or a good fantasy movie. As for RPGs I prefer LARPing, I am a big fan of old school Vampire, the Masquerade!
