Exactly! If they had not thought of that before now you have gone and given them the idea.

It is so easy to spew "facts" and they always seem to get repeated over and over no matter how wrong that are.

Our pastor also mentioned getting a billboard ad and the price was more expensive than the tv ads.

Not.

What would you think of a person attending a Catholic church? SHOULD THEY BE proselytized? Same goes with legalistic churches. God oughta shut 'em down.

It's not unethics, it is saving souls from extreme error.

Go win your own souls, invest time in discipling them, counsel with them, dedicate, teach, marry, hospital visit, laugh, cry, financially assist, pray with, encourage, listen to problems, marriage counsel, trust, build friendship, confide, nursing home visit, bury-------and then some tv evangelist comes along and takes them from you with his gold colored chairs and fancy suits and big gospel choir-----------------------------it aint right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, since a lot of our so-called churches are having Super Bowl parties at church nowadays, I guess the goal would be to prosyelitize entire churches during the Super Bowl. We should spend that 4 million on door hangers and radio commercials.

I get my tv advertising for free. I get more than 30 seconds. I get free publicity on the news cast. A two week media blitz which included one-one, radio, television, newspapers and mass mailings netted about 100 brand new people showing up to our kidz crusade. We doubled the attendance that Sunday. The only pentecostal visitors on the guest list were visiting family who attends our church. The rest were non-pentecostal and non-church children and adults. We got a brand new family attending our church. Our church was the first church the father wanted to attend. Within 2 weeks 3 people from that family received the Holy Ghost and Pappa is feeling his way around and will be next.

The main thing to remember is a tv ad increases name recognition. Marketing experts agree unanimously to spread the advertising out over various types of media. That's what I do when publicizing events.

So now that we have been out of the UPC a total of three weeks our Pastor has a commercial running on local cable stations at about $1.00 per thirty second ad.

Just a simple ad with our Pastor welcoming people to our church and giving information about service times and location. Back when he was UPC the church ran an ad on local network stations at a more expensive rate. That ad ran just a few weeks and as a result we had at three families added to our church and they all testified that they came to church as a result of the TV commercial. They were hungry and just needed the information and a face to connect to the church. I don't think our movement realizes how important it is for our area that they connect the church with an actual Pastor and that there are real common folks inside.

Also, our old church has been in a very prominent location for 30 years and you would not believe the people who say they never knew our church existed.

Hopefully, it won't take that long with our new church.
