When I think of his goodness and how he set me free...
I could dance, dance, dance, all night, all night.

I was ready to dance a jig. But the song sang was:

When I think of the goodness of Jesus,
And all he has done for me...
My soul cries out Hallelujah,
Praise God for saving me.

Mind you, I love the words of the song but I prefer something I can tap my foot, clap my hands, and dance a jig to. I am aware that these type of songs all have their place in different services but I like the younger, newer, and more lively tunes. Just my preference.

Blessings, Rhoni
Hey, I like the DANCE DANCE DANCE ALL NIGHT one too! My reference to old songs was in regard to the title THE BLOOD song that Bro. Larry sang!

As for the sAnging... I have been known to sAng a little bit in church. why, I have even been the featured guest at a sAngin' or two. Not so much in recent history seein' as my pastor believes solos are of the evil one and if you can't sing in a trio or moreo you don't sing at allo!
Sis. Esther,

That was somewhat tongue in cheek. I don't think he feels they are of the evil one but he does not allow solos. If it ain't a group it ain't happening. The only solos are in choir numbers and I am not in the choir. Neither am I good in a group because I might sing the lead for a while and then the alto and tenor for a few bars as well... that just isn't good in a trio or moreo.
